Executive Committee

Md. Akhter Hossain, the President of first Executive Committee of Pencil Foundation is a reputed
businessman in RMG sector. He is the Director Sales of Marketing of Wisdom Attires Ltd, Four Square General
Trading LLC., UAE & Four Square Resources S/B, Malaysia. After completing the BSS and MSS in Economics
from Dhaka University, Mr. Akhter also achieved another Scholarship based Joint European Masters on
Comparative Local Development from University of Trento (Coordinating University). Before the successful
footsteps in the field of Business, he also worked in the field of Social Development with Ex-Governor,
Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman. Mr. Akhter is also involved in different Social and Humanitarian activity
for a significant period.

Badrul Alam Choudhury Bulbul, the Vice-President of first Executive Committee of Pencil Foundation is
working in Ekushey Television Ltd. as Joint News Editor, in his professional life. After completing the BA in
English from University of Dhaka, Mr. Choudhury worked in different National Print and Electronic Media for
last 15 years.

Asker Ibne Firoz, the General Secretary of first Executive Committee of Pencil Foundation is working in Bengal
eBoi (a concern of Bengal Foundation) as Head of Business Operations, in his professional life. After
completing the BSS and MSS in Sociology from Dhaka University, Mr. Asker worked in different industry
including Media, Banking, Event Management and Development for last 15 years.

Rajib Rana Das, the Treasurer of first Executive Committee of Pencil Foundation. Professionally a Banker Mr.
Rajib completed his BSS (Hons.) and MSS in Sociology from Dhaka University. Later on he also completed his
MBA from BUBT. Mr. Rajib also possess sound knowledge in social development sector. He has a keen
interest on Photography and visual anthropology.

Md Rezwanul Alam, Fca executive member of first Executive Committee of Pencil Foundation is working in
Abul Khair Steel Melting Limited (a concern of Abul Khair Group) as Assistant General Manager, Finance &
Accounts in his professional life. After completing Chartered Accountancy from ICAB as an articled of M/S
Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Company he is serving in steel sector for last 8 years.

Tania Wahab, Executive Member of first Executive Committee of Pencil Foundation is a well-known Women
Entrepreneur in Bangladesh. Owner of TAN and Managing Partner of Karigar Ms. Tania achieved many
National award; i.e. Women in Business Award by DHL & Daily Star, Best Women Entrepreneur 2011 by

FBCCI, Best Women Entrepreneur 2008 by SME Foundation and many more. In Academic Career she
completed BSC Engineering in Leather Technology from Dhaka University and Masters in Development
Studies from BRAC University. She also possessed membership in many prestigious entity, i.e. Alumni of
Department of State and Australian Alumni Association etc. Along with her glorious professional career Ms.
Tania is also involved in different Social Activity.

Khaled Hossain Opu, Executive Member of first Executive Committee of Pencil Foundation is an Enthusiastic
Organizer. In profession he is doing successful business in the field of RMG and he is the CEO of Eva Dying &
Printing. After completing the B.Com (Hons.) and M.Com, Mr. Opu passed a long career in Business and he is
also engaged in different Social & Humanitarian activities.
